UPDATE:

The DPW does not pick up move out or clean outs from any commercial or residential properties. If you live in the residential property you are allowed to put out a certain amount of items in the accordance with the village web site.( Bulk pickups  

(1) Size is no larger than 4’ X 4’ X 6’   

(2) One large item only Couch, Loveseat, Box spring, Recliner, Etc. Mattresses do not count because of the $30 fee.

(3) One trash can size of construction debris. Only Addresses on the bulk pickup list will be picked up. The DPW will do a special bulk pickup if someone does a clean out or move out for a fee determined by the DPW on the size to be picked up.

Trash/Garbage:

Superior Waste Removal ONLY PICKS UP NORMAL household trash: trash/garbage: MUST BE IN APPROVED CONTAINERS OR IN CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS.

CARDBOARD AND/OR RECYCLABLES MUST BE IN BLUE BINS.

 

The DPW Dept. does not pick up:

PAINT, CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, CONCRETE, STONES, DIRT, AEROSOL CANS, TIRES, TV SETS, COMPUTERS, MICROWAVES, DEHUMIDIFIERS, AIR CONDITIONERS, REFRIGERATORS AND/OR PROPANE TANKS.

REMEMBER: If you leave these items on the CURB OR ON YOUR PROPERTY, you may be CITED by the Code Enforcement Dept. which, could

result in FINES and COURT APPEARANCE.

 

Highway Department.– WILL PICK-UP SOME SPECIFIED LARGE ITEMS (Like: couches, chairs, etc. -***CALL THEM AT 468-1606 ***TO ASK QUESTIONS AND SCHEDULE A PICK-UP DAY

Call the DPW from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Friday to schedule a pick up please.

(PICK-UPS ARE ON MONDAYS ONLY)

LARGE AMOUNTS OF TRASH &/OR GARBAGE (like a house or apartment cleanouts/move outs – CALL YOUR OWN HAULER – Look in the phone book for independent haulers, (there probably will be a fee for this).

BRUSH & YARD WASTE:

BRUSH:

Brush shall be in a neat pile separate from yard waste. No longer than (5) five feet in length or (6) six inches in diameter.

YARD WASTE:

Yard Waste shall be placed in: CANS, BOXES, OR BROWN PAPER BAGS that can be dumped or picked up, (Do Not use Plastic Bags). NOT TO EXCEED 50 POUNDS.

 Brush and Yard Waste must be separated.  Please properly place containers by the curb – call the DPW, if you have questions: 468-1606
